  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. In a food processor, pulse the flour and salt to mix. Add the cold butter and pulse until a fine crumb forms. Add water while mixing until a dough appears and it comes away from the sides.
  3. Form dough into a ball and place in refrigerator for 10 minutes while you prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper. Once dough is chilled, turn out onto lightly floured surface and roll a rectangle about 1/4 inch thin. Using a knife, cut the dough into rectangles in desired size. You can even use cookie cutters for different shapes.
  4. Place rectangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and fill with about one tablespoon of desired filling. Place matching rectangle on top, seal edges with a fork and poke a few holes in the top to vent. Brush with an egg or milk wash and bake for about 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let cool on a baking rack and then coat lightly with vanilla glaze.
  6. Freeze them or place in an airtight wrapping or container for 3 days. Enjoy!
